Spending deep six figures on an ultra-luxury car is, for most of us, impossible to comprehend. That's house money. Or college fund money. And why would anybody drop so much on a Bentley or a Rolls-Royce when a BMW or Mercedes seems plenty nice?
I've driven some of these vehicles myself. And while I wish I could tell you they're a total rip off, I can't. When I sampled the Rolls-Royce Spectre and Ghost a few years back, I was stunned by, well, basically everything about them.
There's a new EV on the block for ultra-high-net-worth individuals that I'm eager to test out, the Bentley Torcal. It has over 300 miles of range, 400-kilowatt charging, and a price tag north of $200,000.
