Lily Allen and Sam Fender are among the artists who will receive an O2 Silver Clef Award.
The pair, as well as composers Max Richter and Ludovico Einaudi, will be presented with the prizes by Nordoff and Robbins, the UK’s largest music therapy charity, in July.
The award ceremony, which will be held at the Royal Albert Hall in London to mark its 50th anniversary, is the charity’s largest annual fundraising event to help deliver music therapy to hundreds of people across the UK.
Allen, who released her fifth studio album West End Girl late last year, will be honoured with the icon award during the star-studded ceremony this summer.
She said: “Music therapy is such an essential resource and I’m proud to support something that has such a profound impact on people’s lives.”
Meanwhile, Geordie singer Fender, known for Rein Me In and Seventeen Going Under, will receive the best live act award.
He said: “I’m so lucky to do this as a job. This award is especially meaningful because of the incredible work in music that Nordoff and Robbins do.”
Renowned pianist Einaudi, known for Le Onde and Divenire, as well as his soundtracks for films, such as This Is England and Nomadland, will instead be honoured with the innovation in music award, while British composer Richter will receive the contemporary music award.
Richter said: “To receive this recognition from Nordoff and Robbins is especially meaningful, because their work reminds us that music is not just art, but care.
“It’s therapy, it’s community, it’s hope. Thank you for believing in the power of contemporary music.
“I’m deeply grateful to be part of a world where music can make such a tangible difference in people’s lives.”
They join previous O2 Silver Clef award winners including David Bowie, Annie Lennox, Ed Sheeran, Stormzy, Dame Shirley Bassey, Sir Paul McCartney, George Michael, Kylie Minogue, The Rolling Stones, Oasis and Coldplay.

“Through the support of these amazing artists and our music industry peers, we can keep raising awareness of our mission and hope to raise as much money as possible, helping us continue training music therapists and supporting people through music therapy.”
The O2 Silver Clef Awards will take place at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Thursday July 9.
