This reportedly includes the addition of new, cheaper plans under the Game Pass, as well as more incredible offers to users, including a potential inclusion of a Netflix subscription to be bundled with the service.
Xbox Game Pass May Be Getting a Revamp with Cheaper Plans
A new report by The Information reveals that Sharma is currently exploring ways to transform the public's perception of the Game Pass and make it more appealing to the public.
The Xbox CEO is planning to make it more appealing by adding cheaper plans to the Game Pass service, one that could potentially make it more affordable for new gamers and introduce them to the experience.
Additionally, it was also revealed that the Xbox executive is also planning to make the Game Pass more accessible to a broader audience by potentially showing ads and offering less of its premium features for a lower price.
Possible Netflix Bundle for Xbox Game Pass
Apart from the cheaper tiers and stripping down the Game Pass to be more affordable to gamers, the report also talked about Sharma considering the addition of a Netflix subscription to the service.
This points to a possible Xbox Game Pass tier that bundles a Netflix subscription with it so that players can get two entertainment experiences with one membership payment.
DigitalTrends reported that Netflix's co-CEO Greg Peters already had discussions with Sharma regarding potential subscription bundles that combine the Game Pass and Netflix in one.
