In case you didn't know, 26 January is the national day of Australia. And what could be a more beautiful way to celebrate the occasion than by honoring all the little things that make this country the beautiful, interesting and absolutely bizarre place that it is. It's funny as an Australian seeing all these non-Australians freak out over all this stuff. For real, the chances of seeing the actual dangerous animals is pretty slim, I live on a property in rural Queensland and I rarely see any of the actual dangerous animals.
