Growing up mom sewed a lot of our outfits. 1960s. Have pix of dad and the 2 boys wearing the same shirts and mom and the girls wearing the same dress. She even sewed swimsuits for us. It was cheaper to make your own than buy. Not like today when just buying fabric and notions will break the bank.
