Waiting tables. This is why I tip so well. The patience and grace under pressure is immense.
Teaching. You cannot trust me to educate the next generations. I would be a good teacher, but I would lose my mind and snap due to all the slang future generations will come up with.
Law enforcement, EMS, nurse, etc. I don't think I could deal with seeing and dealing with bodily injuries on a regular basis.
Real estate, and probably everything that has to do with sales.
I tried it years ago, as a real estate agent during college. I am unable to trick people and instead of lying with a nice smile on my face, I used to tell them of the hidden issues of the houses/ apartments they intended to buy. Many of the customers were thankful (especially since some of the houses had serious legal issues), but I got kicked out anyway 😄
In the meantime, new laws brought significant improvements for the real estate transactions in terms of customers' protection. But I still believe I'd be terrible at this job.
Anything that requires math skills. With math skills I could have been the funniest guy at NASA
Call center customer service. Especially the ones that say they record the calls. I'd be fired after the first day!
Veterinarian.... I have many allergies against different pets and their housing (straw etc), barf if I see/smell puss/s**t/etc and I could most definetly not deal with cheap or s****y owners
I would be terrible at all jobs, except for Server Administrator and / or Pop Culture Useless Trivia Expert. Long ago, I could have made a decent farmer, but I'm too old for that now. Everything else, I would be a complete disaster.
A bus driver or a rubbish truck driver, I could not handle the stopping and starting. Would zone out and forget to pick up people/bins
Anything involving heights. I'm a diesel mechanic and I get a touch of vertigo when I have to climb on top of firetrucks or dump trucks.
Anything to do with bad smells. I have a hyper-sensitive gag-reflex and nearly vomit when an egg breaks on the floor
Anything involving socializing with customers or non-coworkers. I get nervous even when talking to myself and feel like I would get judged a lot for pronouncing words wrong or stuttering.
