Homophobia is still well and alive amongst our society. Why it shouldn't be there are just too many reasons, which we are not going to explore this time. And while the internet can provide a platform to connect us, educate us, and mobilize us, it can also give people the opportunity to spread hateful views. Currently, there are 26 countries around the world that legally recognize same-sex marriage, and not everyone is happy about LGBT becoming a norm.

All across Twitter, Facebook, and even in text messages to family members, people have taken it upon themselves to profess their homophobic views. You can clearly see from these hateful texts, that broader vision and education is what these people need. Well, you can fight fire with fire, or you can take another route.
