Neutral but Fascinated by the Royals
Although the Culture Club frontman has not declared himself a supporter of the Sussexes, he has admitted to being fascinated by the Royals, calling the British monarchy the 'best reality show in the world.' Boy George made the remarks while appearing in the ITV reality series 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here' in 2022. He was the fourth contestant eliminated during his season.
In another post on social media, Boy George said he would welcome the Duke and Duchess of Sussex back in London. His comment followed an exchange with actor, political activist and Reclaim Party founder Laurence Fox, who criticised the couple.
On social media, Fox said: 'The Sussexes are the epitome of everything that is wrong with modern western culture. Talentless, entitled, narcissistic attention seekers. I look forward to moaning Markle tanking whatever show someone is silly enough to hire her to do the acting in.'

Past Remarks on Meghan
Boy George has previously used the royal family as inspiration for his art. He once said: 'Art helps me stay creative. I've just painted a picture of Meghan Markle looking hugely annoyed at the Queen's funeral, which I found fun to draw.'
He also commented on the Sussexes's 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey. Boy George criticised Meghan for not naming the person who allegedly expressed concern about Archie's skin colour.
'Sadly, Meghan wasn't prepared to tell us who made these alleged comments about Archie's skin colour?' the 62-year-old English artist tweeted at the time. 'I believe she has a responsibility to tell us.'
The interview, broadcast as 'Oprah With Meghan and Harry,' featured Meghan's revelation that a member of the royal family had 'concerns and conversations about how dark (Archie's) skin might be when he's born.' Meghan, who is biracial, said the comments were relayed to Harry.
Harry told Winfrey he would never reveal the details or disclose the identity of the person involved. 'That conversation, I'm never going to share. But at the time, it was awkward. I was a bit shocked. That was right at the beginning when she wasn't going to get security,' he said.
It was later clarified that the remarks did not come from Harry's late grandparents, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip. The interview aired while Harry and Meghan had already relocated to the US. They stepped back from royal duties in 2020 to pursue financial independence.
