Celtic winger Yang has revealed he is dealing with a hamstring injury while at the Asian Games with South Korea.
He is missing a good chunk of the early part of his club's season after being called up for his nations under-23s side, as one of their over age players for the tournament.
Yang played as his side made it through the group stage but was absent for their quarter final win over Vietnam today. Afterwards, he revealed he is dealing with a hamstring problem.
He said: "I have a minor injury to my hamstring. Right now, I am preparing with the goal of reaching the semi-finals and the finals.

"I was selected as a wild card, but since I haven't been in good physical condition recently and now I'm on top of that with an injury, I feel really sorry for my teammates. I also feel like I'm not being of any help.
"So I tried to be of even a little more help from the bench. I also check on their daily lives to see if they are experiencing any inconveniences, and I try to do whatever they need. The goal is a quick recovery."
It could provide another injury problem for Celtic after the news Haissem Hassan pulled out of the Egypt squad in order to have "intensive treatment."
In Yang's absence, Celtic lost three big games in a week, two to Rangers and one to Ferencvaros on Europa League duty. The 24-year-old likely would have played a big part after impressing Martin O'Neill and becoming a key player.
