This is a Diactor Bilineatus, it is really beautiful, but it is a pest in the cultivation of passion fruit. Here in Brazil we call this insect "Passion fruit Bedbug".

Once I went to Costa Rica and went through the rain forest on a guided tour and before we got too far into it, I was leaning against the railing and looked to my left just in time to see a bullet ant getting ready to crawl into my hand! The tour guide said those are the only bugs he was afraid of. On another note, that same tour guide had a good laugh at my expense the entire tour because every freaking bug in the rain forest decided it was a fine day to go human chasing and you can guess who their target was. The entire tour I spent running from bugs. Just me. No one else...

Thank you so much! I'm so glad you like my videos! I've always loved art and making things. I've been creating things ever since I was really little. I did art camp a bunch as a kid, and took art classes throughout high school but that's about the extent of my art-related education. For the costume, I did do some research and look at what other people did and used. As for the ship, all I really had was a google image of a ship and then I just went from there. I guess I just get a vision or an idea and then take it one step at a time. Sometimes it doesn't work out and then I have to problem solve a bit to make it better. But it's always nice to see everything come together in the end :)
