I serve tables and I was thinking if it were me, and I were the only server on, which seems likely based on this, I'd greet the round table, seat them, get a drink order, but probably take the other 2 tables orders that walked in if they were ready and had less guests. Because, if they had a caretaker, more times than not they might need a few more minutes, at least in my experience. Doesn't mean neglect though. I would check, since not always the case. And as for carrying 3 drinks of 5, I doubt th reviewer knows what this table was drinking and there could be a few reasons why a server might not bring all the drinks at once.

I agree, but I also think Bonesko is right that there appears to be a lot of missing information. Maybe this group is regular and only 3 of them get drinks for whatever reason. But yes, if it was purely because they were disabled a 1 star is even too high.

What I have started doing, (if it's another woman because otherwise things could get 😳quick), is to take a small step back. If they want to be close, I'll make sure they're close! Same advice works if someone is trying to elbow you too I guess.

Guy Buys Period Products For His Female Guests, Taken Aback After One Woman Shames Him For It

I'm from the US and I've worked at restaurants for many years and I wish they did something like that. Or why can't they throw some pads in tampons in with the restaurant first aid kit with the along with the aspirin and bandages and such?! Every place at work I always bring in a box of pads and tampons for the staff in the back that is for community use and easy to find. No one has complained about it and people are appreciative.

That's what I did to. Just go in the kitchen, talk sh*t with the BOH staff and go back out and tell the customer 'nope don't have it'.

Like the other kid was just hanging on her t*t?? She wasn't nursing both children? Anyway, there is a reason why some might not choose to cover themselves with a blanket or something or go to the bathroom. Maybe there's a line for the bathroom, maybe it's summer and it's just too hot to have a blanket on. Maybe it's a bit cumbersome to keep a blanket on while trying to feed. It's a few minutes then it's done so any restaurant patrons can deal with it. Also, seeing someone nurse their child is not even on the list of the grossest guests do in restaurants.

Exactly! I can't tell someone not to feed their baby, even if I could I wouldn't. If there's an open table with no reservation I may move them only so the mother can nurse without feeling embarrassed. If I can't, and you're fixating on it, oh well get over it 🤷‍♀️
