The National Parks in the US are spectacular.

Im an avid backpacker and have been lucky enough to explore some really beautiful and remote places.

The coolest part is that our National Parks system was the first and inspired other countries to do the same! My Spanish girlfriend even learned about that in her tourism degree.

Making compliments to strangers.

When I really like something about someone, I tell them. At the shop, in the subway, at the theater, at the gym.
"Your perfume smells amazing!" "What a great hair color!" "You are so fit, congratulations!"

The way their face lights up in a surprised, genuine smile is priceless. Almost addictive. 😊

I dated a guy for a little bit who's pick-up line was "D**n, girl, I'd take an a.s.s.whooping for you." Didn't last long, but still. Most original I have ever heard.

The 2012 Olympics in the UK and the 2016 Brexit referendum. One was an amazing event and the UK was in a great place at that time. Then the referendum happened and it all turned to s**t.
