A Psychologist Asked Dads What Their Wives Stopped Doing After Having Kids, And The Responses Got Heavy Fast

I did it for a few years, with a diabetic daughter at that. Learning how to deal with that was hard, but our daughter was the model of good behaviour. If she had been a difficult child, i don't know how we would have coped, because the diabetes was hard enough. But we know there are plenty of families who have diabetic children and they're also either really badly behaved and difficult to manage, or they're constantly crying. We couldn't have coped with that as well, i don't know how other parents manage it.

‘Supergirl’ Box Office Projections Tank Following Star's 'Christian Dads' Insult

What she meant when she said "dad of three daughters, Christian" or whatever it was, was that these people profess to be caring, loving people, but then go about maliciously attacking people. Either they're not who they pretend to be, or they're delusional sociopaths. She wasn't attacking real father-daughter relationships and she wasn't attacking the film's core audience. In fact those who said she was were probably the fake trolls, too. She's said nothing wrong or incorrect. What she said has been twisted by the very people she was addressing - machiavellian sociopaths. They're all over social networks and hubs like these, all across the world and they "hunt" in packs.

These moments will always contain stories both true and imagined by the actors. To some extent, especially after many years have passed, proving the accusation becomes very problematic. But there are probably more real cases of criminal mistreatment than imagined. Léa Seydoux's case looks from the outside like a real case of a*****t. Same with the infamous and disgusting butter scene in Last Tango. Was it really needed? No. Nothing like that is ever really needed, but Brando and the director didn't look at other artistic methods for achieving the depravity of the scene, and the director is being particularly dishonest and nasty by describing the late inclusion of the butter as something of no consequence. It completely turns the scene from what may have been a joyous and intimate scene into one of debauchery and excess, something Brando was renowned for. And Hitchcock's obsession with blondes was practically autobiographical in Vertigo. His treatment of Hedron was sociopathic.

This sounds like emotional blackmail. It's deliberately cryptic, so they don't have to commit. which means they're not serious about what they're suggesting. However, that doesn't mean they're not mentally ill, as this kind of manipulative behaviour is mentally very unhealthy. Not just the"I could have seen you" and the "i don't think I'm gonna have another chance", but also the "you know?" -which is asking you to be complicit in their illness. That is really manipulative. I just wanted to know what it was that i said that brought on this sudden hatred or fright from this other person, because i keep saying stuff that upsets people and i have no idea why.. so unless someone tells me, i can't learn. BUT. No one ever responded, and i can see why now. Because if they had, i might have wanted to stay in touch. I actually wouldn't have, but they don't know that. And i know that i probably sounded like a nutcase. And as there are obsessive nutcases out there, you really don't want to encourage them. I realised that in this situation, there is nothing the unfriended person can say without looking like a psychopath. I have suffered from life long depression and there's NOTHING you can say that will directly help anyone with that illness. However, you can express empathy, "I can't imagine what that's like, and I don't know enough to be able to help you, but I'm doing ... next week if you wanna come along?" Basically, just be yourself. People with depression can have a great sense of humour. Often it's just about them feeling like they're part of an ordinary conversation.. So ignore the depression directly, just be a nice person around them and discuss usual things, make them feel like they're part of your social group, rather than a burden.

Without more context, it seems like she was saying that a real "Christian Dad" would be expected to not be an anonymous troll, so it is funny for the trolls to be using that label. Now that some of the actual "Christian Dads" are showing they aren't so upright, maybe not. Or maybe most of the backlash is still coming from anonymous trolls, still pretending to be "Christian Dads".

Unfortunately life-changing events change YOUR life and not your friends' lives. It does súck, but they don't always know how to respond, because the event isn't affecting them, and they have no idea what you are feeling or going through. Though I do think a true friend could at least say things like "Wow, how do you feel about that?" or similar small-ish talk, even if they don't honestly care about your life-changing event.

I hate it when they do this (for both men and women) for so many reasons. A big reason is putting a picture of him at a professional event, posing for pictures, dressed and styled, next to a picture of him on a random day on the street. What a shock, there's a difference.

First, he’s onset, working. I think he looks great. No makeup, seemingly no plastic surgery, no fillers or such. A little grey hair, a little rough rugged look for his character. He seems to be in good shape and health. Still quite handsome to me. He’s not going to a peacock all the time. We all have our grumpy days. He’s working! Not on the red carpet. Give him a break. He’s unshaven for a reason. That’s probably for the role. How would you all feel being so harshly attacked like this? Maybe the photographer deliberately took this picture to smear his image and get people to hate him….🙂‍↔️
