Does Mango Shaped Space actually portray synesthesia in an accurate way? Also is it fun or annoying sometimes or just normal? Sorry for the questions, just trying to better understand it, which I can't do fully since I don't have it

I have synesthesia too! For me the words don’t have colors but each individual letter, ans well as all number lines and calendars are pictured in the space around me in different directions, and also every sound (even non-music) has a shape and a color. I noticed the comment about A Mango Shaped Space, and I’ve read it and i thought it was very accurate! Obviously her colors and shapes didn’t line up with mine like, at all, but it was definitely portrayed well
