There's a graveyard in northern France, I think, that has about 50 graves in it. They are deliberately unmarked. They are the graves of American servicemen who were executed for war crimes during World War II. Mostly r**e and m****r. Americans looted quite a bit, but we didn't r**e and m****r. For the Soviets, that was almost a perk. The most famous occupant is the father of Emmett Till.
